bravado will take you far, but you will take me home

Things I will never do again:
Do background work for TV/Film unless there's a much fatter paycheck than $100 (before tax) for an 8:30am to 1am day of shooting.

I ate junk food all day.
I walked around in basically baby clothes-- a hot pink tube top terry cloth romper (why did I not photograph this, I regret).
I danced to the same song on repeat and pause like 50 times for the same scene with the same 5 lines being shot from 8 different angles.
I wanted to die. A lot.

However,
I did shimmy with Harvey Keitel. He looked like he was going to have a heart attack. Sweaty.

And, even more exciting,
I met a real life scientist named Jeremiah.
Now, I don't know whoever is familiar with my senior project play about science but HOLY SHIT I CREATED A CHARACTER WHO EXISTS AND I TOTALLY FILLED HIS AMERICAN APPAREL SWEATSHIRT POCKETS WITH CHICKLETS.
Come after midnight, we played hooky and skulked about the craft services tables, nibbling snacks and coffee.

Being non-SAG in a SAG world is like being really poor on Christmas. Or like racial segregation back in the early 20th century. But with paychecks.

In any event, NEVER AGAIN. This seriously made me reconsider a lot of things I intended to do with my life. Or at least the way to go about it.

Conversely, seeing Thao again made me reconsider anything I've ever planned on doing and becoming a rock star instead?

I wish I knew of her when I was still young and malleable. Who thinks of playing a guitar with a toothbrush? Ingenious!
I was thisclose to them, dancing like a crazy person.
